I’m looking for a Data Engineer to join a leading organization undergoing a major data and AI transformation. Rotterdam Area (Hybrid) | Freelance | July / August Start Role: Build and scale real-time data platforms powering critical business and operational use cases across the organization, working on distributed data processing systems and streaming architectures. Must-have: 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering Experience with Databricks and Scala Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining real-time streaming solutions with Kafka or Kinesis Strong understanding of distributed data processing architectures Experience with AWS environments English fluent Nice-to-have: Python | Terraform | CI/CD Pipelines | Dutch language skills Interested or know someone who could be a great fit?
