Position: Expert Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - VDI. Location: Riyadh. Key responsibilities include deployment, configuration, upgrade, and management of VMware/Omnissa VDI environments (Horizon, App Volumes, DEM, Thin/Zero Clients, Unified Access Gateway/UAG). Manage VMware vSphere (vCenter, ESXi, vROPS, software-defined storage). Plan and implement networking and storage configurations for vSphere and Horizon. Support platform lifecycle tasks including vCenter/ESXi upgrades, Horizon upgrades, and hardware/firmware management on Dell MX7000. Monitor VDI performance and availability using vROPS. Manage disaster recovery strategies and execution for production and non-production. Provide operational support, incident response, and troubleshooting across the VDI infrastructure. Collaborate on new VDI projects and document designs and operational runbooks/SOPs. Required: 8+ years experience in private cloud infrastructure engineering; preferred banking experience.
