Hiring: Applied AI Engineer (2 Open Roles) at a Confidential AI-native startup. On-site in New York, United States with relocation support available. Salary $170K-$230K plus equity. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US and willing to relocate. Build and ship AI/LLM features in production, own AI systems end-to-end (design to deploy to iterate), work on matching, scoring, and automation systems, decide between fine-tuning vs prompt engineering vs off-the-shelf models, and turn messy real-world data into scalable AI solutions. Core requirements include 4+ years engineering experience and hands-on experience with LLMs in production; strong knowledge of LLM APIs, embeddings, vector DBs, and fine-tuning; ability to build end-to-end AI systems.
