Client is a leading insurance provider in the Middle East, is looking for a Senior GCP Data Engineer to design, build, and manage enterprise-grade data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. Responsibilities include designing and building production-grade batch and real-time data pipelines using GCP Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub; implementing CDC pipelines using GCP Datastream to capture incremental changes from Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server into BigQuery; developing and optimizing BigQuery data models; building and managing Cloud Composer (Airflow) DAGs; ensuring data quality across DEV, UAT, and PROD environments; implementing CI/CD pipelines using Git, Terraform, and Cloud Build; and applying IAM, data governance, and compliance frameworks. Required skills include BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Datastream, Pub/Sub, GCS, IAM, Cloud Monitoring; CDC implementation; incremental data loading; production-grade pipeline deployment; Python and BigQuery-optimized SQL; and minimum 2 years continuous GCP hands-on experience. Good to have: Informatica IDMC / CDI / Mass Ingestion, Kafka / Pub/Sub streaming architecture, dbt, Terraform, CI/CD and DevOps practices. Experience required: 6–12 years total data engineering experience, minimum 2 years recent GCP hands-on experience, and regulated industries experience preferred.
