Hiring for Python and SQL Developer contract roles in Toronto for a regulatory technology project at a Top 5 Canadian Bank. Hybrid. 2 positions available. Contract until October 31, 2026 with possibility of extension and conversion to FTE. Pay rate $80-$85/hr (incop +HST). Work includes data-heavy applications, complex SQL, Python services, APIs, ETL, performance tuning, REST API development and integration, and production support and performance troubleshooting. Requires 8+ years overall experience, 4+ years professional Python, 6+ years SQL including performance tuning, relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle, and 4+ years REST API development/integration.
