Platform Engineer (Mid/Senior) in New York. Role focuses on building internal platform, fixing deployment and dev velocity bottleneck, scaling systems, and providing systems-level technical leadership. Work across infra, backend, and architecture decisions with daily impact on multiple teams. Tech stack: AWS; Docker and Kubernetes; Terraform (IaC); CI/CD with GitHub Actions and GitOps; Datadog (observability); backend exposure (Node.js / Rails). Requirements: 3+ years in Platform/DevOps/SRE/Backend infra; strong hands-on cloud and containers; experience building CI/CD pipelines; able to own systems. Compensation: $160K–$210K plus equity.
