Quality Engineering Team Lead (Automation)

Qualitest is seeking a highly experienced Quality Engineering Team Lead (Automation) to join a strategic, long-term programme with a 1.5-year roadmap. Location: London (Hybrid – 1–2 days per week in office). Start Date: ASAP. Contract: 3-month SOW (long-term extension expected). Responsibilities include shaping and driving the automation strategy, leading framework design, mentoring a team of automation engineers, ensuring quality across the delivery lifecycle, driving CI/CD integration and continuous testing, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams, establishing quality governance and delivery metrics, and identifying risks and quality gaps early. Key skills include QA and Automation leadership, UI automation (Playwright or Cypress), API automation and service testing, automation framework design, proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python, experience in Agile and DevOps environments, and strong stakeholder management. London (Hybrid – 1–2 days per week in office)
