Brilliant WFH opportunity for a senior network all-rounder within an hour of East London. Our client needs a Senior Network Engineer as the technical authority on a small, focused team. Work from home as the default with East London DC visits only when demanded. Senior escalation point across routing, switching, security, wireless, cloud and Linux. Security-led stack including Cisco, Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, IPSec VPN, BGP, OSPF across a hybrid on-premises, DC and Azure cloud environment. Modern tooling: Ansible, Python, bash scripting, Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana and OpenTelemetry. Package £65k–£72k. Requirements: 7+ years network engineering experience with 5+ at senior level; strong Cisco background essential; Palo Alto firewall experience highly valued; CCNP, CCIE or PCNSE preferred.
