I’m hiring for a Senior IT Project / Program Manager contract role in Toronto for an IFRS 17 Process Optimization initiative. Role Snapshot: Toronto – Hybrid; 6-month contract with possibility of extension and conversion to FTE; large financial services environment. Responsibilities focus on improving the end-to-end financial reporting process for Global Insurance, working with teams across Corporate Finance, Insurance Finance, Technology, Risk / Regulatory, business stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams. Requirements include 10+ years of IT Project / Program Management experience; strong knowledge of IFRS 17; understanding of accounting principles / financial reporting; experience working in a large financial institution; strong Agile / Waterfall delivery experience; hands-on MS Project, Excel, Visio experience; strong stakeholder, vendor, and executive communication skills. Bonus: PMP certification; regulatory or risk remediation experience; corporate finance project exposure; recent Top 5 Canadian Bank experience.
