Hiring for an Infrastructure Architect for a TOP5 Bank in Canada. Full-time, Permanent, 2-3 days per week to Toronto, ON. Lead architecture discussions with application solution architects and security teams to define infrastructure strategies focused on database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL), middleware technologies (WebSphere, Kafka, MQ, API gateways), application servers (WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat), and message brokers (IBM MQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ). Requirements: 5+ years in infrastructure architecture including hybrid cloud and on-premise; ability to design scalable, secure, resilient solutions aligned with enterprise architecture; understanding of infrastructure automation, monitoring, and operational best practices; 5+ years enterprise database architecture incl. relational (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and cloud-native databases (Azure SQL, Cloud Spanner, BigQuery); expertise in HA, disaster recovery, replication, performance tuning; database modernization, migration strategies, cloud adoption; 5+ years designing/implementing middleware platforms such as Red Hat JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ; deep knowledge of middleware integration patterns, service orchestration, message queuing; experience with API gateways, service mesh, and container-based middleware deployment.
